Pure Ice - Super Star

I made another trip to Walmart, and fell in love with this polish.
But I have to say, it doesn't look as good on my nails as it does in the bottle, it's just not as dark. I don't know if putting on more coats will make it darker, because there are only two here, but right now I really don't like it.
I had it on for about two hours, only because I had to run to class, but immediately when I got home it was off of my fingers!

Super Star - this polish is a deep red with prominant gold shimmer in it. It might be a jelly?

I bought this for $1.97 from Walmart.

Sally Hansen - All Fired Up

I bought this polish on sale, originally it is about $8, but I got it for $1.99!
Walgreens was having a major sale on this partically brand of Sally Hansen, just the Complete Salon Manicure, all of them were $1.99. This was really the only color that I liked that was left, all the rest were really sheer or just not my taste.

Sorry my polish is chipped, this manicure is a day old.
I didn't have time to take pictures before I had to go about my day, my brother came over to visit! I don't get to see him very often and I just did my nails really quick before he came over, they weren't even dry before he came in the door! lol
But now, as you can see, this polish doesn't have a whole lot of lasting power since it didn't even last 24 hours.

All Fired Up - I do love the color of this polish, a very simple orangish-red creme; however, I do have a few polishes like this already just in my small collection: Revlon Fearless and Wet n Wild Megalast Red Tape. So it is definitely not a unique color.  This needed 2 coats.

Konad Stamp M66

I've had this design loaded in my camera for a while, it's just been needed to be downloaded to my computer from there, but of course that is the most difficult part. I've also been going through Midterms for the last couple of weeks and that has been taking up a lot of my time!
But now I should be back to posting on a regular basis and I have a bunch of images that still need to be posted because I was still doing my nails through Midterms, I just didn't have time ot upload them or write a whole post about them.

But now to the actual post.
I finally used my Konad plate! And let me say that it was so much easier to use than the MASH plates, all the little lines came out perfectly the first time, I was so amazed with the difference! But I still love my MASH plates, even with their fickle-ness.

I did stamp using m66 on both of this designs, the red design is my left hand, while the green design is right hand.
I love the little lotus flower! It is so pretty and delicate!

With some more practice I'm sure the cherry blossom branches would come out better.

I tried stamping twice onto my middle finger, here, and that's why it's all messed up.

Polishes Used:
Red: ORLY Moonlit Madness (Bought for around $7-8 from a local beauty salon)
Green: Sinful Colors Last Chance (Bought for $1.99 at Walgreens)
Grey: Sinful Colors Slate (Bought on sale for $.99 at Walgreens)

Rimmel and Color Club

I wanted to do something with the glitter top coats that I just got, so I came up with this.
I used Rimmel Londoon Lasting Finish Pro - Burgundy Flirt as the base color and Color Club's red sparkle that doesn't have a name on the bottle for the tips.

Burgundy Flirt - this polish does seem like a jelly polish to me, though I have never used one, so I cannot say for sure. It was a bit difficult to work with, it was on the thin side and needed three coats to get to the color in the bottle and it still showed my nail line. Though, when I brought this to a salon for them to put this on my toes for a pedicure, they did thin this down, so your's may be completely different! I also have had this polish for a couple of years.
In different lights, this red does look different, though most typically it is a very deep color like the last two pictures.

Color Club - just red sparkles. They are small sized and went on very well, one coat got very good coverage.

Rimmel London is most typically $2-$2.50 at Walmart but that price sometimes flactuates if it is on sale.

I got this Color Club in a pack of 7 polishes for $7.99 from Ross.

Gold and Red

I finally used my striping tapes!
But I got lazy and just used the red polish that I posted the other day. (Revlon Saucy)
The tape was a lot harder to apply than I had origanlly thought. It wasn't very sticky, so obviously it didn't want to stick to my nails, but of course eveything else. When I finally got it onto my nails and in the right place and moved onto start painting some of the tape had started to lift, and I hadn't noticed. So my right hand is pretty messed up, because I had done that one last so the tape had plenty of time to be good and lifted. My left hand is still pretty good except for my pinky finger. Next time I will have to be wary of this.

But I just put the tapes down in a cross pattern on all my nails, except for my ring fingers; there I just did typical french tips for something different and to show more of the red.
I was going to do red french tips on the rest of the nails, for more color, but then I decided not to... I liked this look too much.
The gold polish is Essie Good as Gold.
My firsy Essie polish ever! And I must say that I do like it, worth the price definitely. It went on with only one coat, even over the red and dried very quickly. I half expected it to start crackling with how it went on, because the formula reminded me of my crackle polishes; they go on thick and dry fast.

Essie - $8 (Walgreens, it is cheaper at Wal-mart)
Revlon - Approx. $5 (Walgreens)

Revlon Saucy

I fell in love with a post that I found a bit ago, that I ca't quite remember who made... But it had a Zoya nail polish called Carrie Ann in it. Needless to say that I just had to go out and find this polish.
Well no one around here sells Zoya, unfortunately, but I think I did find something similar.
I found:

Saucy - A bright red with a gold shimmer in it. The polish is less orange in real life and more red, but with the gold in it, the camera wanted to make it go orange I guess... But it is a definite red and not orange at all. This polish did go on very smooth with only two coats.

This is what Carrie Ann looks like:

Revlon - Appox. $5 (Walgreens)

Black and Gold

I did this nail polish the other day, finally using the Hunger Games nail polish that I got in the mail a while ago. With it being such a bright sparkle I didn't really know how to use it, whether I wanted to wear it over something or just do a few coats and wear just that. Finally I got over my indecisiveness and just picked it up and put it on.

I wore China Glaze Electrify over Sinful Colors Black on Black, which is just a creme black and on my ring finger I just wore it plain; 3 coats and the glitter was solid enough to cover up my nail.

Electify definitely has a fiery shine to it that I couldn't really capture in the photos. I do think it would have looked better if I had done a gradient rather than just painted it on, but I'll just have to do that next time.

Sinful Colors - $1.99 (Walgreens)

China Glaze - Approx. $4.50 (Amazon)
