Milani and LAColors Nail Art

I actually really like how this design came out!
Only my second time doing a gradient and I think it came out pretty good! Though I did actually watch a few tutorials this time, that seemed to have helped. Note to self: if you're going to do something for the first time, watch some how to videos. lol

I used one of my LAColor polishes for the first time here, none of them have names, but it's the blue metallic one.. I used it for the base.
I used Milani Silver Dazzle for the gradient.

The LAColors, I got those in a pack of seven for like $6.99 or about that.. from Ross.
And the Milani polish, I got from Walmart for about $3.50.

Konad Stamp M66

I've had this design loaded in my camera for a while, it's just been needed to be downloaded to my computer from there, but of course that is the most difficult part. I've also been going through Midterms for the last couple of weeks and that has been taking up a lot of my time!
But now I should be back to posting on a regular basis and I have a bunch of images that still need to be posted because I was still doing my nails through Midterms, I just didn't have time ot upload them or write a whole post about them.

But now to the actual post.
I finally used my Konad plate! And let me say that it was so much easier to use than the MASH plates, all the little lines came out perfectly the first time, I was so amazed with the difference! But I still love my MASH plates, even with their fickle-ness.

I did stamp using m66 on both of this designs, the red design is my left hand, while the green design is right hand.
I love the little lotus flower! It is so pretty and delicate!

With some more practice I'm sure the cherry blossom branches would come out better.

I tried stamping twice onto my middle finger, here, and that's why it's all messed up.

Polishes Used:
Red: ORLY Moonlit Madness (Bought for around $7-8 from a local beauty salon)
Green: Sinful Colors Last Chance (Bought for $1.99 at Walgreens)
Grey: Sinful Colors Slate (Bought on sale for $.99 at Walgreens)

Revlon - Emerald

Lately I've been looking for the perfect green; just green. Nothing fancy about it, I didn't want a light green or a deep green, or shimmer or glitter. Just green.
And I finally found it.

Revlon Emerald - this is the perfect green. It is a creme and it goes on really well. This is one of there Top Speed polishes, and it did dry really well. I did only use one coat though, when I went out into the sun, it did need two coats because I did have spots where the nail showed through.

I got this from Walgreens for $6.50

Pink and Grey Tips

Something a little different, I don't usually go for really light colors, or when I do I offset it by a darker color somewhere. So I figured why not! What do I have to lose? If I don't like it, I can just take it off.
I used Sally Hansen Wet Cement and OPI Hawaiin Orchid to make this design.

And let me just say, I've had the OPI for a few years now and I've never used it... I don't really know why but with my experiences today I cannot blame myself. It was very watery and took about six coats to fully cover the grey. I don't know if it was like that when I bought it, I can't remember, but it is a very pretty color in the bottle. But so impossible do deal with.

Any tips to thicken a nail polish?

OPI - I believe that this one was about $6-7, but as it has been so long that I've bought it I really don't remember. I bought it from a local beauty salon.
Sally Hansen Xtreme  was Buy 2 for $5 or 1 for $2.99.

Peachy Tips

I decided to do something different with my nails today, instead of just doing one color like I normally do for the swatches.

I don't know how well it turned out... I've never done dots before and my hands were shaking pretty bad, so they kind of ran into each other... So they're not really dots; more like blobs.
And I was using a bobby pin to do these dots, because my dotters still haven't come in the mail.

I've used: Revlon Charismatic for the lighter shade, Jessica Eyes Wide Open for the tips, and Sinful Colors Why Not for the dots.

Jessica - Approx. $6-7 (Make-up Counter at the Mall)
Revlon - Approx. $4 (Walgreens)
Sinful Colors - $1.99 (Walgreens)
