Top Polishes of 2012
These polishes may not necessarily have been released during the year 2012, but I have either bought them or just recently worn them throughout this year and absolutely fell in love with them. I don't have swatches for them all, but I do hope to soon, because of the hassle throughout the holidays I was wearing polishes, but I wasn't able to take pictures of them before they got ruined.
But overall, these are the polishes that I fell in love with this year and I could not live without! It makes me want two bottles! They're not in any particular order.
1. Color Club - Magic Attraction
(I didn't actually have a name on this bottle, but I looked up swatches online and this was identical. I can only assume this is the color I have.)
This is a silver glitter packed with a holo effect. It is opaque on your nails in just two-three coats, so you don't even need a base! I had this on my nails and I just could not stop looking at my nails. I wore this for New Years and it was just perfect with how shimmery it was even in the dark.
2. Nina - Purple Xing
I just bought this so I haven't worn it on my nails yet, but I swatched it on my nail wheels and it is just gorgeous! I was a little weary about this one because of how much glitter appears to be in, while still being a polish, but it was opaque withing two coats while still showing a significant amount of glitter.
3. Wet n Wild - Tropicalia
I wore this the other day and it the perfect bright, hot pink! It's a bright pink while still being warm so it compliments the skin tone very nicely. I was pleasantly surprised by this polish. I was looking for a dupe for Icing Fifi because mine is old and gloopy, but now that I've found this polish, which is not that much different just warmer and a tad darker, I can't stop looking!
4. Milani - Mint Candy
I love love LOVE this polish. It is the perfect turquoise with a beautiful turquoise shimmer in it!
5.Sinful Colors - Winterberry
I'm actually wearing this color right now as I'm typing this. I wasn't expecting much from this polish, but because it's from the winter collection (I think), I figured I would try it because I wasn't sure if I would be able to buy it again if I changed my mind. Boy am I glad I bought it!
6. Sally Hansen - Golden-I
This is definitely my go to gold. I don't really reach for any others though I have plenty. It stamps well, it has a great shimmer in it, and it's opaque. What more could you ask for from a polish?
7. Wet n Wild - On a Trip
This is just a beautiful purpleish blue creme. I feel in love with this as soon as I saw swatches of it online.
8. Revlon - Saucy
This is my go to red! I had a billion reds and this is just about the only one I use! I love the gold shimmer that it has in it and how bright the red is; very festive. (Don't judge my picture, this was one of my first swatches done on here)
9. Sinful Colors - Folly
This is another very bright, warm pink; though much darker than Tropicalia. This one leads a bit more red, and even in some lights looks down right red. I like how warm it is and it looks marvelous with my skin tone.
10. Wet n Wild - I Need a Refresh-Mint
I loved this color as soon as I saw it in the bottle. It's so calm and refreshing, holding true to it's name! I like wearing lighter colors much more than darker colors so of course this one would be in my top ten!
I absolutely love color on my nails! As you may be able to tell from my top ten.
I actually have very few dark colors, and what I do have, they are mostly for stamping.
Let me know what your fave polishes were!

Zoya and Sally Beauty Sale
Sorry that this is a little last minute and the sale is mostly over but I thought I would still post the coupon going around for all you guys and hopefully you can snag some awesome Zoya polishes for free (though you still have to pay for shipping), and maybe pick up a couple things from Sally's as well.
Now to the coupons!
Now to the coupons!
The Sally coupon you do have to use in the store as there isn't an online code, but there are still a ton of good offers in the store! I really made out there.
If you have there beauty club card then you can really get some awesome deals.
As for the Zoya coupon, just add three polishes to your cart and then add the code Zoya2013 and the price of the polishes will be taken off of your total. As for me, I had to pay $10 in shipping costs, but that is still no big deal for 3 Zoya polishes!
At Zoya, I bought Yara, Kennedy, and Daul. I will swatch these for you when I get them and give you my opinion. Kennedy is supposed to be a dupe for OPI's My Very First Knockwurst!
At Sally I bought a whole bunch of little things, mostly maintenance and I I did go over twenty dollars.. Naughty me. I bought: Nail Life Nail Revitalizer Original, Mane n Tail Hoofmaker Hand & Nail Therapy (2 of them because it was buy 1 get one free), ASP Crystal Nail File (I don't recommend, it's too gritty and doesn't really tear up my nails, but feels like it could), Nina Nail Polish Anaconda Liked It, Nina Nail Polish Purple Xing, Finger Paints Nail Polish Gimme Some Suger, two eyepencils (they were some kind of shimmery ones that were at the counter, I don't know the brand).
The Nina Polishes, I think, are going to be on sale for around $3.50 all this month and the Mane n Tail should stay on sale for the rest of the month too. But I don't know for sure.
Nail Tek also has a coupon for a dollar off, I know that one is good all month! But I went with Nail Life instead of Nail Tek, just because it was cheaper and a bigger bottle and a few bloggers I follow use Nail Life.
But that's about it. Sorry about my recent disappearance as well.
With the holidays going on lately I haven't really been around my computer to upload pictures or even have time to edit them, so I've kind of got a bit of back up on this end.

Black and Gold Tribal
I used some more of my stamping plates here, and I did actually have a hard time finding a polish that would show up on top of black, so I just stuck with my gold polish. And even that didn't really show up all that well before I put on a matte top coat, the gloss from the Seche Vite really hid the details of the design. (As you can see in the first picture)
The first picture is of my hand, because the image actually came out a little crooked. I did line it up straight but when I stamped it the stamp came down crooked onto my nail, but I actually like that lineup better than it being straight on. But I had already done my left hand.. And I didn't really feel like doing it over.
I still need to work on placement and getting the stamp straight on my nails.
Also, my nails are too short, so this whole stamp image didn't fit on my nails. I kind of wish that it was either smaller so it would fit, or my nails were longer.. Lol

Sinful Colors - Why Not
I do absolutely love this color, it is one of my favorite blues that I have. I'm not crazy about creme colors, I do like shimmers the best, but this just snuck up on me and stole my heart.
Why Not - this polish is a creme bright blue. The picture is pretty accurate to the color in real life. I have 1 coat here, but for some reason it took a really long time to dry.
I got this polish at Walgreens for about $1.99.
Do you like how I've set up my blog with the pricing tags and telling you how much I got the polish for?
Is there any other way you would like me to do this better?
Any thing else?

Pink Tips and a New Kitty!
I did another french tip design using my Sally Hansen french manicure set, though I didn't use the polish that were included, only the tapes. The tapes are so easy to use and have the little bit of curve, I do highly recomend them! I believe I bought them around two dollars for 60? I don't remember, I bought them awhile ago.
I also used fimo canes for the first time, I bought them pre-cut because that was all that was available at my local Sally Beauty Supply. I think I bought a wheel of them for about $3-4. Again, I bought them awhile ago, so I don't remember exactly.
First time using rhinstones too! I bought a wheel of these too at Icing, when I bought the polishes. These where also buy one get one half off along with the polishes. They were $4.50.
Polishes Used:
Sally Hansen Diamond Strength - Pretty Petunia (Base Color)
Avon - Retro Rose (Tip Color)
The Sally Hansen polish my mom got so I have no clue how mush it is.. I think she got it at the local farmers market, so it would have been cheaper than the drugstores.
And the Avon polish my mom also got, but I think it's around $2-3.
And my new kitty!
I got her from the local shelter, so she is a bit older; she's about eight months old.
She loves cuddling but hates my dogs. lol.
There she is on my bed. Her name is Willow.
And she already lost that collar, I have no clue where it is...
